Pauli Mayfield, Miss Iowa 2010, is a 24 year old native of Davenport, IA. She graduated from Iowa Central Community College in 2006 and later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University (ISU) in 2008.

Pauli was a youth counselor at Woodward Academy, a court adjudicated facility for male youth, following graduation from ISU. It was at Woodard where she became passionate about her platform, "M.A.K.ing a Difference - Mentoring America’s Kids" Since then she has spent many volunteer hours with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Iowa Mentoring Partnership, Showtime Basketball, and Children’s Miracle Network as well as one-on-one mentoring.
